About Bridget

I bring more than 25 years of experience across tax, banking, project management and operational excellence, including being a trusted relationship manager to many customers in a broad range of industries, auditing complex tax situations and providing governance to transformation initiatives.

Today, I combine that experience, an accounting and commercial law degree, with practical bookkeeping skills and Xero expertise to provide straightforward, reliable bookkeeping support to small and medium sized businesses. I’m a Xero Certified Professional (Level 2), so your file is set up and run the way Xero intends.

Each service is scoped and priced on what it actually involves — not a vague monthly line item.

Monthly bookkeeping

Monthly package, by volume

Bank and credit card reconciliation, routine AP/AR reconciliation, GST preparation and filing, and monthly financial reports — the ongoing rhythm that keeps your accounts current and your accountant happy at year end. Payroll available as an add-on at $15 per employee per pay period. Scaled to your transaction volume, not a one-size-fits-all package.

AP/AR backlog clean-up

Fixed-cost project

For accounts that are behind or messy: a deeper diagnostic check across several months, catching errors, duplicates, and gaps before they become a bigger problem. This is one-off project work, separate from the routine reconciliation already included in your monthly package.

Xero setup

Fixed project fee

Getting your file set up right from day one — chart of accounts, bank feeds, and GST configuration — or untangling and migrating one that isn't.

Advisory

Beyond the books — practical support for the decisions and changes that come with running a business. My advisory work is practical and operational. For tax advice, structuring decisions or legal matters, I’ll work with your accountant or lawyer.

Project management

Quoted per engagement

Support running a discrete project within your business — keeping timelines, budgets, and the people involved on track, so it actually gets finished rather than drifting.

Business changes

Quoted per engagement

Practical support when your business changes, such as taking on your first employee, adding a service or moving to new systems. I handle the bookkeeping, payroll set-up and process side, and work alongside your accountant or lawyer on structure and tax decisions.

Packages are priced by volume, not by the hour — so you know exactly what your month costs before it starts. All prices exclude GST.

Monthly bookkeeping

Bank & credit card reconciliation, routine AP/AR reconciliation, GST prep & filing, monthly reporting. An “item” is any bank or credit card transaction, or any bill or invoice reconciled in the month.

Each connected system (for example a POS, job management or payroll platform) adds reconciliation work. If you run more than one, we’ll agree either a flat monthly fee or a move up a tier before you start.

Package pricing is reviewed after your first 3 months, and annually thereafter. If your volume regularly runs over a package cap, we'll talk about moving to the next tier — no surprise bills.
